Remote support options
Use the first option when possible. The other two are backups if Chrome Remote Desktop is not a fit.
Recommended
1) Chrome Remote Desktop
Works in your browser and is usually the easiest option for non-technical users.
- Open Chrome or install it if needed.
- Click Open Chrome Remote Desktop.
- Choose Provide Support and then Get Support.
- Share the one-time access code with us on the phone.
Backup
2) HelpWire
Quick connect app with a straightforward setup flow.
- Click Download HelpWire.
- Run the download.
- When prompted, share the session code.
Backup
3) AnyDesk
Lightweight and fast. The free version is intended for personal and non-commercial use.
- Click Download AnyDesk.
- Run it and read us your AnyDesk Address.
- Approve the permission prompt to begin.
Pro tip: If your computer asks “Allow” or “Grant access,” choose Allow so we can control the mouse and keyboard. If you only want screen sharing, tell us and we can do view-only support.
